Endoscopy Room Assistant

Duties:

• Prepare and maintain the endoscopy room, ensuring equipment is functional and supplies are stocked.
• Assist in patient preparation, monitoring vital signs, and performing EKGs.
• Provide support to GI physicians during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Clean and sterilize equipment and instruments per infection control guidelines.
• Collect and transport specimens and handle associated documentation.
• Act promptly during emergencies, providing necessary items and initiating CPR if required.
• Transport patients and assist with mobility as needed.

Skills Required:

• Strong understanding of endoscopy room setup and patient care practices.
• BLS certification required; ACLS or PALS preferred.

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; NA/PCA certification highly recommended.

Stipend Range: $90,000 - $108,000 annually.
