Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Job Description:
We seek a skilled Medical Assistant Lead to join our Newport Beach, CA team. This position will involve supervising a team of medical assistants while providing high-quality care in an acute healthcare setting. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the healthcare field and the ability to lead and guide a team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Lead, train, and supervise a team of medical assistants in an acute healthcare environment.
• Assist with clinical duties such as taking patient histories, preparing patients for examinations, and performing basic medical procedures.
• Provide direct support to physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain and update patient records using the EPIC electronic health record (EHR) system.

Requirements:

• Three (3)+ years of experience in a healthcare-related field, with a minimum of three (3)+ years of previous experience in an acute healthcare system environment.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification through AHA (American Heart Association).
• Experience with the EPIC electronic health record system is required.
