Pay Rate: $42 - $44/Hourly
Schedule:

• Monday, Wednesday: 6:45 AM – 3:30 PM
• Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 6:45 AM – 5:30 PM

Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) or School Nurse to provide dedicated care to a non-verbal, non-ambulatory child with complex medical needs. The role involves direct patient care, collaboration with healthcare professionals, and the ability to respond effectively in critical situations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide care for a child with sustained seizure activity and g-tube feeding.
• Recognize and address various types of seizures promptly and effectively.
• Collaborate with an LPN to ensure the student's healthcare needs are met.
• Ride the school bus with the student to and from school as part of the daily assignment.
• Provide substitute health office coverage across Loudoun County schools when required.

Qualifications:

• Experience: At least 1 year of pediatric critical care experience.
• Licensure and Certifications:
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
