Job Summary:

We are seeking a Patient Registrar to join the surgical department on a temporary 13-week assignment with the possibility of extension. The role involves providing administrative support, scheduling appointments, and delivering excellent customer service in a medical setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform patient registration and scheduling for surgical procedures.
• Provide exceptional customer service to patients and their families.
• Maintain accurate and organized records in compliance with departmental standards.
• Support the coordination of daily operations, including clerical tasks and managing time-sensitive schedules.

Qualifications:

Required:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic math skills, good spelling, and attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal and clerical abilities.

Preferred:

• College degree or relevant experience.
• Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR).
• Bilingual Spanish language proficiency.
• Medical administrative or clinic experience, including scheduling and customer service.
