Job Description:

We are seeking a Systems Analyst to join our team in Austin, Texas. The role will be telework-based. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in network facilities, system administration, and cloud-based platforms, with a focus on managing and supporting Windows and Linux systems, as well as providing operational support on a 24x7 on-call basis. This position requires a strong understanding of infrastructure, security, and cloud environments, as well as experience with performance monitoring, capacity management, and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage network facilities, data processing techniques, computer hardware, software, and network operating systems.
  • Administer and support LDAP/Windows Active Directory, Microsoft SQL Server, and Hyper-V/VMware environments.
  • Administer Windows Systems (Group Policy, Kerberos, NTLM, TCP/IP, WINS, DNS, DHCP, PXE), Linux systems, and handle network administration tasks.
  • Provide deep knowledge of IT governance, security/privacy policies, and tools, with a focus on Active Directory and LDAP.
  • Support additional technologies such as Ansible, SFTP/FTPS, Kubernetes, and open-source software.
  • Lead and organize work activities while identifying, analyzing, and implementing solutions to problems.
  • Provide server and application support on a 24/7 on-call basis, including responding to critical incidents and performing scheduled maintenance tasks.
  • Support cloud environments, including AWS, Azure, and other cloud service providers.
  • Perform server hardware equipment replacements and upgrades as necessary.
  • Utilize ITIL-based ticketing systems (Remedy, ServiceNow) to track and resolve support issues.
  • Coordinate server maintenance activities with Data Center Contractors and Cloud Service Providers (CSPs), including security patching and updates.
  • Provide expertise in SQL Server Enterprise environments, including installing and configuring clustered setups.
  • Manage Web Application Firewall systems, including Imperva and AWS WAF.

Required Qualifications:

  • 8 years of experience with network facilities, data processing techniques, and network operating systems.
  • 8 years of extensive experience with LDAP/Windows Active Directory, Microsoft SQL Server, and Hypervisor technologies like Hyper-V and VMware.
  • 8 years of experience in administering Windows and Linux systems, including Group Policy, Kerberos, NTLM, TCP/IP, WINS, DNS, DHCP, PXE, and network administration.
  • 8 years of experience with IT governance, security/privacy policies, and tools.
  • 8 years of experience supporting cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure.
  • 8 years of experience in providing 24x7 server and application support.
  • 8 years of experience with server hardware replacements and upgrades.
  • 8 years of experience in ITIL-based ticketing systems (Remedy, ServiceNow).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 6 years of experience in preparing concise written reports and effective communication skills.
  • 6 years of experience planning and coordinating server maintenance activities, including security patching and updates.
  • 6 years of experience supporting Microsoft SQL Server Enterprise, including clustered environments.
  • 6 years of experience managing Web Application Firewall systems such as Imperva and AWS WAF.
