Job Title: Perioperative Nurse - Operating Room
Location: New Jersey (Multiple Locations)
Schedule:
Hours Per Week: 36
Hours Per Day: 12
Days Per Week: 3
Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM (Monday, Wednesday, Friday)
On-call: 3 shifts per month
Job Summary:
The Perioperative Nurse provides care for patients in the operating room before, during, and after surgery. This includes preparation, patient advocacy, and post-op evaluation in collaboration with the surgical team.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care in pre-op, intra-op, and post-op phases.
Scrub and circulate in various surgeries, including Orthopedics and Neurosurgery.
Maintain detailed patient records and procedural notes.
Required Skills & Experience:
2+ years of OR RN experience.
Scrub and Circulating experience required.
Certifications & Licensure:
BLS, ACLS, NIHSS.
NJ State RN License or Multi-state Compact License.
