Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) CWR
Location: Bricktown, NJ 08724
Schedule: 3 x 12-hour shifts per week (6:45 PM - 7:00 AM)
Duration: 13-week

Position Summary:

  • Under the supervision of the Director of Respiratory Services, Technical Supervisor, and Shift Supervisors, the Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) provides comprehensive respiratory care therapy and equipment management. The role includes diagnostic evaluations, treatment planning, ventilator management, intubation assistance, and patient education in support of cardiopulmonary function.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer respiratory therapy under medical supervision for patients with deficiencies in the cardiopulmonary system.
  • Assist with intubation and manage ventilator setup and operation.
  • Evaluate patient needs by gathering appropriate diagnostic and disease-related information and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Establish trust and foster collaboration with patients, caregivers, and team members to support effective treatment goals.
  • Educate patients and caregivers on disease management and therapy, ensuring instructions are clear and easily understood.
  • Perform other duties and participate in assigned projects as directed by leadership.
  • Maintain compliance with HMH organizational competencies and standards of behavior.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Graduate of an accredited program in Respiratory Therapy.

Certifications & Licensure (Required):

  • BLS (AHA)
  • ACLS
  • PALS
  • Current and valid New Jersey Respiratory Care License
  • Current and valid New Jersey Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
