Location: Cleburne, TX 76033
Shift Type: 12-hour shift (Nights: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday)
Hours: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Duration: 14 weeks

Job Description:

• This position offers the opportunity to work with both inpatient and outpatient cases using the Optima 64-slice CT scanner. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CT imaging, as well as proficiency in electronic medical record systems such as CareConnect and EPIC.

Responsibilities:

• Perform CT scans on inpatient and outpatient patients using the Optima 64-slice CT scanner.
• Ensure high-quality imaging while adhering to safety protocols and patient care standards.
• Work with a variety of patients to obtain necessary diagnostic images, including those requiring contrast agents.
• Operate and maintain CT equipment, troubleshooting any issues that arise during scanning procedures.
• Assist radiologists with patient positioning, preparation, and image documentation.
• Document patient information and imaging results in CareConnect and EPIC systems accurately.
• Provide exceptional care and service to patients, ensuring comfort and safety during imaging procedures.
• Ensure compliance with all safety standards, radiation dose protocols, and hospital policies.

Qualifications:

• Certification and training as a Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist.
• Prior experience as a CT Technologist, including proficiency with Optima 64-slice CT equipment.

Licensure:

• Valid ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification and state licensure as required.
  

Documentation Systems:

• Experience with CareConnect and EPIC preferred.
