Job Description:

Seeking a Certified Histological Technician with expertise in histology lab procedures to join a renowned healthcare team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and processing tissue samples for microscopic examination, supporting diagnostic and treatment decisions for patients. The ideal candidate will work with high attention to detail, adhere to strict laboratory protocols, and maintain compliance with health and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process, embed, and stain tissue samples for microscopic review.
• Perform routine and special staining techniques, ensuring accurate sample preparation.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment in accordance with safety protocols.
• Ensure quality control standards are met within the histology lab.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Histological Technician.
• Valid Histologic Technician certification issued by NYSED (Primary Source Verification required).
• BLS certification preferred.

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of histological techniques and lab protocols.
• High degree of accuracy and detail orientation.
