Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Catheterization Lab (Contract)

Duration: 3 Months

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for the Catheterization Lab to deliver comprehensive patient care and support to physicians in a high-paced environment. This role requires the ability to prioritize patient needs, deliver direct care, and document all activities according to established care standards. The RN will assess patient conditions, manage care plans, and advocate for evidence-based practices. Experience with EPIC and Sensis is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and prioritize patient needs, planning and implementing individualized care.
• Perform therapeutic nursing interventions as required by the patient's condition.
• Document patient care activities per standards of care, patient acuity, and clinical priorities.
• Develop and update care plans based on ongoing assessments.
• Facilitate patient-centered care, promoting best practices in the Catheterization Lab setting.
• Collaborate with physicians and the clinical team to support patient recovery and safety.
• Assist with pre-procedure preparation and post-procedure recovery as needed.
• Other duties as assigned to support the care environment.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Critical care experience preferred. Familiarity with EPIC and Sensis is highly preferred.
• Education: Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) required. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Certifications:
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) from AHA
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) from AHA
  • Telemetry Certification or Competency Exam
  • Active RN license (NJ State or multi-state compact)

Languages: Proficiency in English (Speak, Read, Write)

Schedule:

• Hours Per Week: 36
• Hours Per Day: 12
• Days Per Week: 3
• Shift: 8:00 AM - 8:30 PM

Additional Requirements:

• On-call: 2 shifts per week, 1 weekend per month, and 1 holiday per schedule
• Float between pre-procedure prep and post-procedure recovery as needed
