Financial Accountant
General Summary & Scope
• The Financial Accountant will review contracts/SOWs and IT invoices for proper coding and accounting guidance.
• Provide support to the Sr. Manager of IT Services by reconciling IT invoices based on hours documented in the PPM tool (Planview).
• Cross-verify labor invoices against timesheets to ensure they comply with accounting policies (Capital vs. Expense).
• Analyze contracts and SOWs for relevant details.
• Generate contracts or purchase requisitions in Ariba according to SOW information.
• Liaise with vendors to track aging items and ensure prompt invoice payments.
• Work in tandem with the Project Management Team to ensure financial processes align.
• Assist with internal and external audit requests as necessary.
• Help maintain compliance with internal control policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with business partners to obtain supporting information for accruals and adjustments.
