Billing Accountant
General Summary & Scope
• The Billing Accountant will review contracts/SOWs and IT invoices for proper coding and accounting treatment.
• Assist the Sr. Manager of IT Services by reconciling IT invoices based on hours entered in the PPM tool (Planview).
• Validate labor invoices against timesheets to ensure compliance with accounting policies (Capital vs. Expense).
• Review contracts and SOWs for critical information.
• Create contracts or purchase requisitions in Ariba based on SOW details.
• Coordinate with vendors to manage aging items and ensure timely invoice payments.
• Work collaboratively with the Project Management Team to ensure financial accuracy.
• Assist with internal and external audit requests as needed.
• Ensure compliance with internal control policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with business partners to gather necessary information for accruals and adjustments.
