Financial Reporting Accountant
General Summary & Scope
• The Financial Reporting Accountant will review contracts/SOWs and IT invoices for proper coding and accounting guidance.
• Provide support to the Sr. Manager of IT Services by reconciling IT invoices based on hours entered in the PPM tool (Planview).
• Validate labor invoices against timesheets for compliance with accounting policies (Capital vs. Expense).
• Review contracts and SOWs for relevant information.
• Generate contracts or purchase requisitions in Ariba based on SOW details.
• Liaise with vendors to monitor aging items and ensure timely invoice payments.
• Work closely with the Project Management Team to ensure financial accuracy.
• Assist with internal and external audit requests as necessary.
• Ensure compliance with internal control policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with business partners to obtain supporting information for accruals and adjustments.
