Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) - Radiology to join our team. This role involves delivering nursing care according to evidence-based research, nursing policies, and standards of care to ensure safe and individualized patient care.

In this role, the RN will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care. You will work closely with physicians to ensure the best outcomes for patients undergoing radiology procedures such as CAT Scans, MRI, Ultrasound, and Nuclear Medicine/PET. You will develop and implement individualized care plans, perform therapeutic nursing interventions, and manage patient care throughout their stay. The RN will also document care according to established standards, support the adoption of evidence-based practices, and provide patient-centric care aligned with professional nursing models.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect comprehensive data relevant to the patient's health or situation.
• Perform age and disease-specific assessments independently, focusing on physiological, psychological, and cognitive status.
• Recognize clinical and diagnostic status changes in patients.
• Identify patient/family education needs based on age, disease, and cultural differences.
• Develop, implement, and coordinate individualized care plans based on initial and ongoing assessments.
• Advocate for and support the adoption of evidence-based care practices.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in an acute care facility.
• Specialty: Experience covering CAT Scan, MRI, Ultrasound, and Nuclear Medicine/PET is required.

Education:

• ASN Required
• BSN Preferred

Licenses & Certifications:

• NJ State Professional Registered Nurse License or multi-state compact license
• BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and PALS (AHA) certifications are required.
