Job Title: Radiologic Technician II Location: Syracuse, NY Shift: Evening 5 Days X 8 Hours Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Job Description:
The Radiologic Technician II will play a key role in performing diagnostic radiological imaging examinations using both stationary and mobile radiographic equipment. Responsibilities include:
Positioning patients to ensure accurate imaging while minimizing radiation exposure.
Performing radiographic procedures to capture images that assist physicians in diagnosing medical conditions.
Developing X-ray films and ensuring proper identification of all images.
Creating image CDs when needed.
Maintaining medical records and managing related administrative tasks efficiently.
Requirements:
Education:
Associate degree in radiology or a related field.
Certification: Active ARRT certification (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists).
Experience:
1-3 years of experience in a hospital or clinical setting, working with moderate supervision.
