Summary:

Mandatory Requirements:

  • Expert level: 84+ months of relevant experience.

Desired Requirements:

  • 84 months of experience managing multiple IT projects, including weekly interactions and communications with Executive-level stakeholders. Please include details on the type of interaction, the Executive's title, and the frequency of communication.
  • 84 months of experience managing COTS software implementation projects and/or in-house application development (SDLC) projects.
  • 60 months of experience developing and maintaining schedules using Microsoft Project.
  • 60 months of experience working with State, Federal, or Local government agencies.
  • 48 months of experience managing software implementation projects or in-house application development projects using industry-standard project methodologies, reporting into a formal Project Management Office (PMO) while tracking project schedule and budget performance.
  • 60 months of experience working on IT projects within the healthcare industry, including Medicaid or Medicare systems.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Active Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with program staff to manage projects within the Medicaid Data Warehouse (MDW).
  • Manage projects using a PMBOK-based project management methodology, adhering to well-defined processes, templates, and guidelines for all project phases under the supervision of a formal Project Management Office (PMO).
  • Prepare and manage the Project Management Plan, including scope statement, schedule, budget, quality plan, risks, issues, and communication plan.
  • Prepare project documents, presentations, and meeting materials.
  • Track project performance to ensure goals are met.
  • Identify and facilitate communication with various stakeholder groups.
  • Utilize formal project change management processes and communicate any changes with all stakeholders.
  • Conduct stakeholder analysis sessions to synchronize expectations and facilitate lessons learned.
  • Develop and execute transition plans to ensure a smooth transition to operations.
  • Focus may be directed toward initiatives related to Pharmacy and PMQI (Performance Management and Quality Improvement).
  • Collaborate with the Enterprise Portfolio Management Office (EPMO) to ensure alignment of project management activities with EPMO standards.
