Job Description:

• Supports the Occupational Therapist (OT) in administering therapy treatments to improve patients’ mobility and health.
• Assists patients with therapeutic and self-care activities.
• Monitors patients’ progress and encourages them during the recovery process.
• Helps patients improve their quality of life by teaching solutions to physical and mobility problems.
• Works with injured employees to improve motor skills for re-entering the workforce.
• Teaches patients with disabilities to become more independent.
• Updates patient records for the OT and maintains treatment rooms and equipment.
• Instructs patients, family members, and caregivers on skills and techniques to assist with treatment plans.

Requirements:

Experience:

• 2 years of OT experience preferred; LTC or Rehab experience required.

License:

• Washington State OT Assistant License required.
