Job Title: Clinical Lab Technologist - Blood Bank

Hours:

• Per Week: 35
• Per Day: 7
• Days Per Week: 5

Schedule Notes:

• 1 year of Clinical Laboratory Technologist experience in Blood Bank
• Valid license to practice as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist issued by NYSED
• BLS preferred
• Shift Time: 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM, alternating weekends
• Interviews will be conducted via Webex
• Potential for Temp-to-Permanent role

Duties:

• Perform laboratory tests and procedures in the Blood Bank department
• Ensure accuracy and precision of test results
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment
• Adhere to safety and infection control protocols
• Prepare and analyze blood samples for transfusion and diagnostic purposes

Skills: 1 year of experience as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist in a Blood Bank setting

Education:

• Valid license to practice as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist issued by NYSED, with Primary Source Verification required
• BLS certification preferred
