Job Title: Mammography Technician

Location: New York, NY (10019)

Hours:

• Per Week: 37.5
• Per Day: 7.5
• Days Per Week: 5
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM

Duties:

• Perform routine screening and diagnostic mammography
• Demonstrate proficiency in mammography positioning, compression, and technique factors
• Ensure all radiographic images are appropriately labeled per department SOP
• Evaluate images for technical accuracy and ensure timely transmission to PACS
• Ensure all studies are properly completed in IDX
• Accurately record patient tracking information in the system

Skills: Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a clinical environment

Education and Certifications:

• Must possess a valid New York State License in Diagnostic Radiography
• Must be registered with ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
• Must meet and maintain MQSA (Mammography Quality Standards Act) requirements

Language Requirements: English (Speak, Read, Write)

Certifications & Licenses: ARRT
