Job Summary:

The RN - Operating Room is responsible for providing skilled nursing care in a fast-paced surgical environment. This includes circulating and scrubbing in operating room cases, administering conscious sedation, and performing IV insertions and phlebotomy. The role requires strong clinical skills, adaptability, and experience in handling high-pressure situations.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Two years of experience in scrubbing and circulating in the operating room.
• IV insertion and phlebotomy experience.
• Experience with conscious sedation procedures.

Education:

• Required: New York State RN License
• Primary Source Verification
• AHA BLS certification
• AHA ACLS certification
• IV/Phlebotomy experience required

Certifications & Licenses:

• ACLS
• BLS
• Phlebotomist certification
• RN License

Languages: English (Speak, Read, Write)

Minimum Degree Required: Associate’s Degree from an accredited program
