Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Telemetry (RN24-13648)
Location: Edison, NJ
Shift time: 7:00 AM - 7: 30 PM
Department: Telemetry

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Telemetry unit, monitoring patients with cardiac conditions using specialized equipment.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions according to the prescribed care plan.
• Monitor and interpret vital signs and telemetry readings, responding promptly to any changes in the patient's condition.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to develop and update care plans, ensuring a holistic approach to patient care.
• Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families regarding medical conditions, treatments, and recovery plans.
• Follow established hospital protocols and safety standards to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Experience & Skills:

• 2+ years of strong ICU/CCU (cardiac) experience required.
• Med/Surg experience required.
• Experience in Neuro highly preferred.
• Knowledge of complex cardiac care, including experience with balloon pumps, highly preferred.
• Must have the flexibility to float to any unit in the hospital as needed (MedSurg, Telemetry, Step Down units, etc.).
• Must be highly reliable and available to work all assigned shifts except those pre-disclosed prior to the offer.

Certifications:

• BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA) certifications required.
• CCRN certification preferred.
