Need Description:

This role involves providing specialized care to patients in the Intermediate Medical Care Unit (IMCU), particularly those transitioning from the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). The unit manages patients on ventilators, cardiac monitoring, and those receiving vasoactive drips. The preferred candidates will have experience in ICU, as this unit handles complex medical needs. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:3, with potential to flex to 1:4.

Core Responsibilities:

• Provide direct care to post-ICU patients.
• Manage and monitor ventilators, cardiac drips, and complex medical conditions.
• Perform patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as per protocols.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and post-discharge care.
• Maintain up-to-date patient records and documentation.

Required Skills and Experience:

• ICU experience preferred.
• Competence in managing ventilators, cardiac drips, and critical care patients.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Education:

• Degree: Registered Nurse (RN)
• Active RN licensure
