Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist, Reg, 2-5 yrs - Contract
Schedule Notes: 4pm – 12am Monday to Friday

Job Summary: The Ultrasound Technologist performs or assists in ultrasound examinations, provides technical support to the Radiologist, and maintains ultrasound equipment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepares and examines patients for ultrasound procedures following departmental guidelines.
• Operates, adjusts, and ensures the safety of ultrasound equipment, preventing hazards.
• Sets up, operates, cleans, and makes minor adjustments to equipment.
• Ensures the availability of necessary supplies.
• Assists in the orientation and mentorship of new ultrasound personnel.
• Captures images onto PACS and transfers them to physicians' workstations.
• Answers phones, schedules examinations, and coordinates transportation as needed.
• Performs other duties as required.

Skills:

• Registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS).
• 2+ years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with office and administrative practices.
• Competence in personal computer use and related software.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and discretion.

Education: Graduate of a two-year ultrasound program with clinical and didactic education.
