Job Title: Dental Assistant

Shift Hours: 8:00 am - 4:30 pm (includes a 60-minute break). Shifts may vary Monday through Friday with the following options: 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm, or 9:00 am - 5:30 pm.

Department: Adult Dental Oral Surgery

Location: New York, NY 10065

Position Summary: We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant for a 16-week assignment in the Adult Dental Oral Surgery department. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year of experience as a Chairside Dental Assistant and must possess expertise in Dentistry, Oral Surgery, EPIC, and Radiology.

Responsibilities:

• Assist dentists with various dental procedures and surgeries.
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment.
• Take and develop X-rays.
• Maintain accurate patient records using EPIC.
• Provide patient education on dental care and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of one year of experience as a Chairside Dental Assistant.
• Completion of a Certified Dental Assisting Program.
• Proficiency in Dentistry, Oral Surgery, EPIC, and Radiology.

Dress Code:

• Navy Blue scrubs are required.
