Position: Application Architect 
Location: Jersey City, NJ
Duration: 7 Months

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated Business Systems Analyst with strong expertise in Capital Markets or Wealth Management. The ideal candidate should be proficient in SQL for querying and data analysis and possess excellent communication skills to interact with stakeholders, gather requirements, and execute solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
• Provide insights and analysis on Capital Markets or Wealth Management processes.
• Write and execute SQL queries to retrieve, manipulate, and analyze data.
• Translate business needs into functional specifications and system designs.
• Liaise between business users and technical teams to ensure smooth implementation of solutions.
• Conduct gap analysis to determine the best solutions for system improvements and enhancements.
• Ensure timely project execution by coordinating with stakeholders and tracking progress.
• Assist with user acceptance testing (UAT) and post-implementation support.

Key Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, preferably within Capital Markets or Wealth Management.
• Strong understanding of Capital Markets or Wealth Management operations.
• Proficient in writing and running SQL queries for data analysis.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work with clients and internal teams to define, document, and execute on business requirements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in financial services or investment management domains.
• Familiarity with business analysis frameworks such as Agile or Waterfall methodologies.
• Experience working with reporting tools and databases.
