Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Tele CWR

Location: Manahawkin, NJ, 08050

Hours Per Week: 36 hours

Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Telemetry unit is responsible for evaluating patients, assisting physicians, and providing patient care. Key duties include:

• Planning, implementing, and documenting nursing care based on patient needs.
• Identifying patient needs and determining care priorities through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
• Developing and coordinating individualized care plans for assigned patients.
• Performing therapeutic nursing interventions and managing patient care.
• Documenting care following standards of practice and patient acuity.
• Advocating for evidence-based practices and supporting innovations in care delivery.
• Providing patient-centric care in alignment with professional nursing practice models.

Required Skills & Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent Telemetry experience.

Education & Certifications:

• Required Education:

  • Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN)
  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing

• Preferred Education:

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
  • Telemetry Certification or Telemetry Competency Exam

• Required Certifications & Licensure:

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) – AHA
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) – AHA
  • NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
  • NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license
