Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Mother Baby CWR

Location: Neptune, NJ, 07754

Hours Per Week: 36 hours

Schedule: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM (3 x 12-hour shifts)

• Weekends as needed
• Holidays as needed
• No on-call requirement

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Mother Baby unit is responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians with patient care, planning, implementing, and documenting nursing care based on patient needs. Key responsibilities include:

• Identifying patient needs and prioritizing care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
• Developing and coordinating individualized care plans through initial and ongoing assessments.
• Performing therapeutic nursing interventions and managing patient care.
• Documenting care according to standards, patient acuity, and clinical priorities.
• Advocating for evidence-based practices and supporting innovations in care delivery.
• Providing patient-centric care in alignment with professional nursing models.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in Mother Baby care.
• Must be LDRP trained, including circulating in the OR for C-sections, providing baby care, and managing Magnesium Sulfate patients.

Education & Certifications:

• Required Education: Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) required, Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Required Certifications & Licensure:

• Basic Life Support (BLS) – AHA
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) – AHA
• NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license
