Position / Specialty: EMT
Shift: 3x12-Hour (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
Experience Required: Minimum of 6 months
First-timers Accepted: Yes
Weekend Requirement: Will work every third weekend as needed
Certifications Required: BLS, EMT, EMT-B
Block Schedule: Open to accommodation
Pending License: Accepted
Requested Time Off (RTO) Restrictions: Ideally no more than 5 days

Special Requirements:

• Work Setting Experience Required: Acute Care (Emergency Department or ambulance service)
• Skills Experience Required: Vital Signs, Glucometer, Phlebotomy, 12-lead EKG, Wound Care, Splinting
• Preferred Experience: Epic charting system
• Primary Responsibilities:
  • Peripheral venipuncture
  • Blood culture collection
  • 12-lead EKGs
  • Splinting
  • Wound care
  • Crutch/mobility teaching
  • ENT interventions (irrigation, visual acuity)
  • Maintaining sterile instruments and oxygen tank supplies
  • Assisting with patient flow in triage
