Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) with a specialty in Neuro Progressive Care to join our team for a 13-week assignment. The ideal candidate will have expertise in monitoring and treating acutely ill patients who require close observation and monitoring but do not need Intensive Care Unit (ICU) treatment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patient Monitoring and Assessment:

  • Monitor critical vital signs and detect any significant changes in patient conditions.
  • Perform timely interventions as required based on patient assessments.

• Patient Care:

  • Provide care to patients whose conditions require constant observation but do not necessitate ICU treatment.

• Collaboration:

  • Work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients in the Neuro Progressive Care Unit.

Requirements:

• Experience:

  • 2+ years of experience in Neuro Progressive Care Unit (Required)
  • Recent traveler experience (Highly Preferred)

• Licenses/Certifications:

  • MI State License/LARA
  • BLS (AHA)
  • ACLS (AHA)
  • NIHSS
