Assists in the development and management of Web security policy and procedures for the enterprise. Evaluates information security solutions on Inter/Intranet/Extranet environments.
Responsible for monitoring, assessing and reviewing rule base and configurations of firewalls and intrusion detection systems.
Performs security assessment reviews of the e-commerce applications for compliance to security policies, standards and practices.
Reviews software products and recommends security solutions for various platforms and initiatives. Educates users on the Web security standards and practices.
Reviews and prepares status reports on security matters to develop security risk analysis scenarios and response procedures.
Ensures compliance to security policies and procedures by administering and monitoring security profiles; reviews security violation reports and investigates possible security exceptions; updates, maintains and documents security controls.
Must have knowledge of client/server and Web technologies and a strong understanding of e-commerce operations.
Dimensions Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or another related field.
Or equivalent work experience.
Experience:
A minimum of 3 years of combined IT and security experience with a broad range of exposure to infrastructure/Web and multi-platform environments.
Requires knowledge of security issues, techniques and implications across all existing computer platforms.
Complexity:
Intermediate professional level role.
Develops security solutions for medium to high complex assignments.
Works on multiple projects as a team member and leads Web-related security components.
