Position: Data Platform Administrator 
Location: Boston, MA
Duration: 6 Months

Job Summary:

The Data Platform Administrator is responsible for administering, configuring, and supporting IT platform applications and tools for users. They will ensure the standardization, maintenance, configuration, and support documentation of data platform applications. The ideal candidate will demonstrate confidence, creativity, and keen problem-solving abilities.

Detailed List of Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Database Administration:

    • Administer, configure, and support Database Platforms Snowflake and Oracle.
  2. Data Platform Applications:

    • Administer, configure, and support Data Platform applications including Informatica Cloud (IICS), Tableau, Cognos, SAS, GitHub, and MOVEit MFT.
  3. Cloud Applications:

    • Design, implement, and support cloud applications and AWS services.
    • Install and configure software on AWS cloud and Linux platforms.
  4. Access Management:

    • Administer and manage internal and external requests for data applications access and permissions.
    • Ensure data security and protection protocols are followed.
  5. User Support:

    • Support business users, agency partners, data analysts, and developers in implementing data solutions.
    • Provide excellent customer service through various channels including email, telephone, and written correspondence.

Qualifications:

  • Education:

    • BS in Computer Science or related degree, or equivalent experience.
  • Years of Experience:

    • 3+ years in Cloud Data Warehouse applications Snowflake, IICS, AWS, and GitHub.
    • 5+ years of experience in Database administration and Data Warehouse applications on AWS.
    • Minimum two years of experience with installing and configuring applications using Cloud Technologies (AWS, MS Azure, etc.).
  • Certificates:

    • Knowledge of cloud network policies and firewall rules.
    • Familiarity with Informatica and/or other ETL tools.
    • Experienced in Oracle SQL skills and PL/SQL skills.
    • Experience in Linux shell scripting, user security, and server administration.
    • Experience in data security protocols using encryption and decryption methodologies.
    • Medicaid or other healthcare or claims processing experience.
  • Skills:

    • Strong communication and organizational skills.
