Job Title: Senior Azure Cloud Specialist

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Azure Cloud Specialist to join our team. The Senior Azure Cloud Specialist will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform. The successful candidate will possess strong technical skills, deep expertise in Azure services, and experience in leading cloud migration and transformation projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, architect, and implement cloud solutions and services on the Microsoft Azure platform.
  • Lead and mentor a team of Azure engineers in the design, implementation, and management of cloud projects.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and other teams to gather requirements and define technical solutions.
  • Assess existing infrastructure and applications for cloud readiness and develop migration strategies for on-premises workloads to Azure.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, deployment guides, and best practices.
  • Configure and optimize Azure services and resources for performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Implement security controls and best practices to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of cloud resources.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize Azure environments to ensure reliability, availability, and performance.
  • Stay current with Azure technologies, updates, and best practices to continuously improve cloud solutions and capabilities.
  • Provide technical guidance, support, and training to junior engineers and team members.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • years of experience in cloud computing, with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure.
  • Strong technical skills in Azure services such as Azure Virtual Machines, Azure App Service, Azure SQL Database, Azure Storage, Azure Networking, and Azure Security.
  • Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, Terraform, or Azure Bicep.
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation using PowerShell, Azure CLI, or other scripting languages.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or other CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong understanding of cloud security principles and best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think critically and analytically.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Experience in leading and mentoring technical teams is a plus.
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or other relevant certifications are a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with hybrid cloud architectures and multi-cloud environments.
  • Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with Azure AI and machine learning services.
  • Familiarity with Azure governance and management tools such as Azure Policy, Azure Monitor, and Azure Sentinel.
  • Experience with Azure data services such as Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Databricks.
