Shift: Day Shift, 12-Hour Shifts (07:00 - 19:30), 3x a week

Location: Euclid, OH

Job Duration: 13 Weeks (with potential extension to 16-18 weeks)

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse (MS/Tele RN) for a travel assignment at Euclid Hospital. The position requires strong clinical skills and a commitment to providing excellent care to patients in a fast-paced Med/Surg Telemetry environment. As an MS/Tele RN, you will be responsible for managing patients with cardiac and medical conditions, providing continuous telemetry monitoring, and working closely with the interdisciplinary team to ensure quality care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to Med/Surg and Telemetry patients
• Monitor and interpret ECG rhythms, ensuring accurate documentation and timely intervention
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Perform assessments, develop nursing care plans, and coordinate care with the healthcare team
• Provide patient education and support to patients and their families
• Work collaboratively with physicians, charge nurses, and other team members
• Maintain patient safety and comfort at all times
• Participate in the Rapid Response Team as needed
• Must work at least every other holiday during the contract period

Requirements:

• Minimum of 18 months of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience (must have permanent MS/Tele experience prior to travel)
• Ohio RN license or compact state license in hand
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications
• Recent Epic charting experience (within the last 6 months) is required
• ECG rhythm recognition test and SafeMedicate assessment during orientation (acceptable score required)
• Must provide one recent reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager (ANM), supervisor, or director in the specialty
• Ability to work at least every other holiday during the contract period
