Duration: 11 Weeks
Schedule: 40 Hours per Week (Mixed Shifts)
Pay Rate: $1,925 – $2,198.50 per Week (Travel Pay)

Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join a Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation team. This role is ideal for a nursing professional who thrives in a collaborative, patient-centered environment and is committed to delivering high-quality care while supporting and supervising nursing staff.

Schedule & Shift Details

• 40 hours per week
• Rotating shifts:
  • Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
  • Evening Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
• Includes every other weekend and holiday rotation

Key Responsibilities

Patient Care & Clinical Duties

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Perform clinical procedures such as catheterization, tube feedings, suctioning, and wound care
• Monitor and record vital signs and patient conditions

Team Supervision

• Oversee and direct daily activities of Nursing Assistants
• Ensure compliance with facility policies and high standards of care

Documentation & Compliance

• Maintain accurate and timely patient records
• Document responses to treatment and care plans
• Process physician orders, admissions, transfers, and discharges

Care Coordination

• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
• Accurately transcribe and implement physician orders

Patient Advocacy

• Educate patients and families on care plans and health management
• Uphold patient confidentiality and resident rights at all times

Diagnostic Support

• Collect and prepare specimens (urine, blood, sputum) for testing

Qualifications

• Licensure: Active, unrestricted Massachusetts LPN license
• Education: Graduate of an accredited LPN program or nursing school
• Certifications: Current BLS / CPR and AED certification required
• Experience: Prior experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred
• Skills:
  • Strong leadership and supervisory abilities
  • Ability to make sound clinical decisions independently
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
