Certified Rehabilitation Therapy Assistant (COTA)

Job Summary:

Works closely with occupational therapists to assist patients in improving their daily living and working skills, ensuring patient safety and compliance with therapy plans.

Essential Duties:

• Assist patients in performing exercises and functional tasks prescribed by occupational therapists.
• Help patients practice fine motor skills, coordination, and sensory-motor functions.
• Maintain accurate records of patient progress and communicate with the therapy team.

Educate patients on exercises to improve their quality of life outside of therapy sessions.
