Key Responsibilities:
Perform CT and general radiographic imaging as ordered by providers
Prepare and properly position patients for procedures, ensuring comfort and safety
Operate CT and radiographic equipment, optimizing settings for image clarity and diagnostic value
Adhere strictly to radiation safety standards and ALARA (As Low as Reasonably Achievable) principles
Review images for quality assurance and assist with patient documentation
Collaborate effectively with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to support accurate diagnoses and treatment plans
Requirements:
ARRT Certification in Radiography and CT – Required
Valid Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist License – Required
BLS Certification (American Heart Association) – Required
Minimum 1 year of recent CT Technologist experience – Preferred
Strong understanding of imaging protocols and radiation safety procedures

Job Summary:
The Medical Assistant I will support the delivery of patient care by performing clinical, technical, and administrative tasks in a healthcare environment. This role requires a combination of direct patient interaction and administrative duties to ensure smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform clinical procedures such as EKGs, lab testing, pulmonary function tests (PFT), and audiometry as ordered by the physician.
Admit patients to exam rooms, take vital signs, medical, medication, and allergy history, and document height and weight.
Ensure laboratory procedures adhere to CLIA regulations and perform quality control checks.
Complete patient referrals, document treatments, and telephone communications with patients.
Maintain medical and examination rooms in a clean, orderly condition, and stock supplies.
Ensure patient registration, insurance updates, appointment scheduling, and accurate documentation of patient records.
Process HMO referrals, assist in patient emergencies, and notify physicians as needed.
Greet and interact with patients and visitors professionally and courteously.
Balance daily ledger sheets, manage cash box transactions, and notify management when change is needed.
Provide instructions to patients upon discharge and notify them of test results as directed by physicians.
Required Skills & Experience:
Certification as a Medical Assistant or two years of relevant experience in a medical office setting preferred.
Excellent phone manners, flexibility, and knowledge of computer data entry.

Education: High school diploma or general education diploma (GED) required.
Certifications & Licenses:
