Position Title: Personal Care Assistant (PCA)
Location: Round Hill, VA 20141
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:15 AM – 3:40 PM
Contract: 34 Weeks
Pay Rate: $20 – $25/hour
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking Personal Care Assistant for an exciting job in Round Hill, VA.
Assist students with personal care needs, including toileting, feeding, dressing, and hygiene.
Support students during classroom activities, transitions, and mobility within the school.
Implement IEP accommodations and behavior support plans as directed by teachers.
Ensure student safety and supervision at all times, including during transitions, lunch, and recess.
Provide assistance with lifting, positioning, and the use of mobility equipment when needed.
Maintain accurate documentation of student progress, incidents, and observations.
Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other staff to encourage student independence and engagement.
Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all school district and state guidelines.
Participate in team meetings and professional development as required.
High School Diploma or GED required.
Prior experience working with children or individuals with disabilities preferred.
Ability to perform physical care tasks and follow individualized medical or behavioral plans.
Strong communication, patience, and teamwork skills.
School-based setting (Grades 6–8).
Active role requiring standing, walking, lifting, and hands-on engagement with students throughout the day.
