Job Title: CT Technologist
Location: Gastonia, NC
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: 12-Hour Days | 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM | Tuesday, Thursday, Friday
On-Call: Twice per month
Float: As needed between Gastonia and Belmont locations

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced CT Technologist to perform high-quality computed tomography (CT) and related imaging procedures. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical skills, professional judgment, and commitment to patient care in a fast-paced medical imaging environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform CT scans and related diagnostic procedures, ensuring accuracy and patient safety.

  • Operate and maintain CT equipment (Siemens Force and GE HD 750 scanners).

  • Prepare patients for imaging exams, explain procedures, and ensure comfort and safety throughout the process.

  • Administer IV contrast materials as needed, maintaining appropriate competency and documentation.

  • Evaluate images for diagnostic quality and completeness before submission for interpretation.

  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and radiology staff to ensure smooth workflow and optimal patient care.

  • Maintain accurate records, documentation, and adherence to radiation safety protocols.

  • Provide excellent patient service using AIDET (Acknowledge, Introduce, Duration, Explanation, Thank You) principles.

  • Float to affiliated imaging centers as required.

Requirements:

  • Active ARRT (R)(CT) certification.

  • Minimum 1–2 years of CT experience preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and advanced imaging techniques.

  • IV competency and experience with contrast administration.

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and patient interaction skills.

  • Ability to work independently while maintaining team collaboration.
