Job Summary: Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Operating Room Technician for an exciting Travel and/or Local job in Cooperstown, NY (ZIP: 13326).
Responsibilities:
Scrub for surgical procedures across a variety of specialties.
Handle surgical instruments, supplies, medications, and equipment during procedures.
Manage sterile fields and ensure compliance with infection control standards.
Assist with preparation and maintenance of instrument cases and trays.
Properly label, store, and transport surgical specimens and media.
Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and anesthesia providers to support optimal patient outcomes.
Perform additional OR support tasks as directed.
Education Requirements:
Associate Degree in Surgical Technology required.
Required Certifications & Licensure:
BLS (AHA)
NBSTSA Certification
