Job Summary:
A Cardiovascular Radiology Technologist is needed for a 12-week contract opportunity to support the Cardiology department by performing high-quality imaging procedures specializing in cardiovascular studies. The ideal candidate will bring advanced technical skill, clinical knowledge, and a patient-first attitude to a collaborative care environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform cardiovascular radiographic imaging procedures, including diagnostic and interventional exams, following physician orders and imaging protocols
Operate cardiovascular imaging systems such as fluoroscopy, radiographic units, and mobile imaging devices
Assist with cardiac catheterization procedures, angiograms, and vascular studies as needed
Administer contrast media under physician supervision, when credentialed
Monitor patient vitals and provide support during imaging procedures
Uphold patient comfort, privacy, and safety throughout procedures
Participate in department quality assurance and infection control standards
Requirements:
Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
Certification:
ARRT (R) – Required
ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) – Preferred
BLS (Basic Life Support) – Required
Licensure: Must meet state licensing requirements (if applicable)
Experience:
Minimum 1–2 years of experience in cardiovascular or interventional radiology preferred
Strong knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy, pathology, and fluoroscopic imaging techniques
