Job Title: Physical Therapist
Location: Montour Falls, NY
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Days – 8 Hours (Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week)
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join a reputable healthcare facility in Montour Falls, NY. The Physical Therapist will evaluate, plan, and implement individualized therapy programs to help patients restore function, improve mobility, and manage pain. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong clinical skills, empathy, and professionalism in patient care.
Assess patients’ physical, psychological, emotional, and educational needs through evaluation and observation.
Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on physician prescriptions or referrals.
Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to enhance mobility, strength, coordination, and endurance.
Educate patients and families on therapy goals, exercises, and home care techniques.
Document all treatments, progress, and patient responses accurately in accordance with facility standards.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Participate in community education and wellness programs as needed.
Active New York State Physical Therapy License (required).
Minimum 2 years of professional experience in physical therapy (travel experience preferred but not required).
Strong communication, organizational, and patient care skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team.
