RN Labor and Delivery - RNLD 0602 NS#05

Title: RN Labor and Delivery
Location: Fort Myers, FL
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 12*3/  Nights
Weekly Gross: Up to $2300/week (Based on experience)

Key Responsibilities

The Labor & Delivery RN will provide high-quality, high-acuity obstetric nursing care, including:

• Managing laboring patients in a high-acuity L&D setting
• Monitoring maternal and fetal status continuously
• Assisting with vaginal and cesarean deliveries
• Responding to obstetric emergencies (e.g., fetal distress, hemorrhage)
• Administering medications and IV therapies per protocol
• Collaborating with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, and neonatal teams
• Performing detailed patient assessments and documentation in Epic
• Providing postpartum stabilization and recovery care as needed
• Educating patients and families throughout labor and delivery process
• Maintaining patient safety and adhering to hospital protocols

Requirements

• Minimum 2+ years of Labor & Delivery experience required
• Prior travel RN experience required
• Active RN License (must be in good standing)
• Certifications Required:
• BLS
• ACLS
• NRP
• AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring (required)
• AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring / EFM Certification (preferred)
• Must be able to manage high-acuity patients independently
