Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Room (ER)

Location: Hyannis, MA (02601)

Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: 36 Hours per Week
Shift: Night Shift (12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Weekend/Holiday: Every other weekend & holiday rotation required

Compensation:
Weekly Gross Pay: $2,574 – $2,803


Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced clinical environment. The ideal candidate will be skilled in emergency nursing practices, patient assessment, and critical care interventions.


Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver patient care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
  • Administer medications and monitor patient responses effectively
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and comprehensive patient documentation
  • Perform ongoing patient assessments, including physical, psychological, and social needs
  • Develop and communicate patient care plans with interdisciplinary teams
  • Serve as a resource and mentor for staff, including assuming charge nurse responsibilities when required
  • Utilize computerized nursing informatics systems efficiently
  • Participate in staff meetings, training programs, and quality improvement initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols, infection control, and hospital policies
  • Provide education and support to patients and families
  • Maintain professional development and stay current with clinical practices

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
  • Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room RN experience
  • At least 1 year of ER travel experience
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts
  • BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
  • Successful completion of pharmacology and basic arrhythmia exams
  • Strong communication and clinical skills
  • Experience with IV administration, ventilators, and telemetry monitoring

Preferred Certifications

  • TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
  • ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course)
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
  • De-escalation training certification
