Job Title: Telemetry Technician
Location: New York, NY
Job Type: Contract (13 Weeks)

Compensation:

• Local Rate: $40/hour
• Travel Rate: $50/hour

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Telemetry Technician to provide continuous cardiac monitoring and real-time ECG interpretation in a clinical setting. This role is critical in identifying arrhythmias, responding to life-threatening changes, and supporting patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform continuous cardiac monitoring and accurate ECG rhythm interpretation
• Identify and respond to life-threatening arrhythmias and initiate emergency protocols
• Conduct electrocardiograms (ECGs) with proper electrode placement
• Document cardiac rhythms during emergency situations and assist with response efforts
• Communicate effectively with nurses, physicians, and healthcare team members
• Maintain accurate and compliant patient records and documentation
• Enter and verify patient orders in the system
• Operate and troubleshoot telemetry monitoring equipment

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Pediatric telemetry experience required
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Certifications:

• Telemetry Technician Certification required
• Dysrhythmia Course completion required
• BLS (AHA or Red Cross) required
