Job Title: Registered Nurse – Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR RN)

Shift: 10-Hour Day Shifts (On-call required)

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced CVOR Registered Nurse to join a high-performing surgical team. The ideal candidate must be proficient in both scrubbing and circulating in cardiovascular operating room procedures and thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform both scrub and circulate roles during cardiovascular surgeries
• Prepare operating room with appropriate instruments and equipment
• Assist surgeons during complex cardiac procedures
• Monitor patient status and ensure safety throughout surgical procedures
• Maintain sterile technique and adhere to infection control protocols
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary surgical teams
• Document patient care accurately using EMR systems

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of CVOR RN experience
• Mandatory experience in both Scrub and Circulate roles
• Prior experience working specifically in a Cardiovascular Operating Room
• Active RN license (state-specific as applicable)
• BLS (Basic Life Support) – Required
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) – Required
• Experience with Epic EMR system
• Prior travel experience highly preferred
