Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Location: Gunnison, CO 81230
Position Type: 13-Week Contract (High Possibility of Extension)
Schedule: Nights | 12-Hour Shifts
Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours per Week
Local Pay: $30 – $35 per hour
Travel Pay: $40 – $43 per hour
We are seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a 13-week night shift contract assignment in Gunnison, CO, with a strong possibility of extension. The LPN will assist in supervising and delivering day-to-day nursing care in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations to ensure the highest standard of patient care.
The ideal candidate will have experience in hospital or skilled nursing settings and a strong understanding of rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices.
Assist in supervising daily nursing activities during assigned shift.
Provide direct patient care in accordance with care plans and physician orders.
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local healthcare regulations.
Monitor patient conditions and report changes to the Director of Nursing or supervising RN.
Administer medications and treatments within scope of practice.
Support rehabilitative and restorative nursing interventions.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided.
Promote a safe, clean, and supportive environment for patients and staff.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Colorado.
Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or comparable healthcare setting.
Training in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
IV certification preferred.
