Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Acute Dialysis

Location: Neptune, NJ 07753
Contract: 13 Weeks 
Hours Per Week:  40 Hours 
Shift: Monday/Wednesday/Friday (6:00 AM – 2:30 PM)

& Tuesday/Thursday/Saturday (6:00 AM – 5:00 PM)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Acute Dialysis team. The RN will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, evaluating dialysis patients, and assisting physicians with treatment plans. This role involves developing individualized care plans, performing therapeutic nursing interventions, and advocating for evidence-based practice care standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, plan, implement, and document nursing care based on patient needs.
  • Develop and coordinate individualized care plans through initial and ongoing assessments.
  • Identify patient needs and determine priorities for care.
  • Perform therapeutic nursing interventions and manage patient care effectively.
  • Document patient care in alignment with standards of care, patient acuity, and clinical priorities.
  • Provide patient-centered care following professional nursing practice models.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Support and implement evidence-based practice care standards.
  • Maintain patient safety and adhere to infection control protocols.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Education:

  • Required: Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN).
  • Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).

Licensure & Certifications:

  • Required:
    • Active NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license.
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA).

Experience:

  • Required:
    • Minimum of one (1) year of acute dialysis experience.
    • Experience in outpatient hemodialysis.
    • Knowledge of Fresenius T Machines and portable Reverse Osmosis (RO) systems.
  • Preferred:
    • Telemetry experience.
    • Experience working with Fresenius dialysis machines.
