Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented CT Technologist to join our healthcare team in New York, NY. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality CT scans, ensuring patient safety and comfort, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to provide exceptional diagnostic imaging services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform CT scans in accordance with physician orders and clinical protocols.
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and proper positioning throughout imaging procedures.
• Review patient history to confirm the appropriate scan protocol.
• Administer contrast media as required, following established department guidelines.
• Maintain accurate patient records and document imaging procedures.
• Operate CT imaging equipment with technical proficiency and professionalism.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure efficient workflow and patient care.
• Follow safety regulations and infection control protocols.
• Perform routine maintenance on CT equipment and promptly report any issues.
• Adhere to departmental policies, regulatory standards, and quality assurance protocols.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• New York State (NYS) License in Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in CT.
• Minimum 2 years of experience performing contrast-enhanced CT exams.
• Experience with CT scanners (preferred).
• EPIC experience (preferred).
