Registered Nurse – Medical/Surgical Telemetry Nurse

Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical-surgical and telemetry nursing.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Proficiency in ECG interpretation and cardiac monitoring.
• Strong ability to recognize and respond to arrhythmias and hemodynamic instability.

Duties:

• Provide specialized nursing care to medical-surgical patients requiring telemetry monitoring.
• Monitor heart rhythms and report arrhythmias or changes in cardiac function.
• Administer and titrate cardiac medications, anticoagulants, and IV drips.
• Perform comprehensive assessments, including vital signs, neurological checks, and fluid balance monitoring.
• Educate patients and families on cardiovascular health, medications, and lifestyle modifications.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including cardiologists and respiratory therapists.
• Maintain compliance with telemetry monitoring and hospital safety protocols.

Pay:

• High weekly pay range: $3,100 - $3,900
