Neuro Anesthesia Technologist

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Anesthesia Technology program.
• National ASATT certification.
• CPR/BLS certification.
• Three years of work experience, preferably in neurosurgical anesthesia.
• Knowledge of intracranial pressure monitoring and neuro-specific anesthesia needs.
• Must successfully pass pre-employment health clearance.

Duties:

• Prepares and maintains anesthesia equipment for neurosurgical cases.
• Assists with patient positioning for head and spine surgeries.
• Ensures proper setup for neurophysiologic monitoring.
• Maintains and reprocesses neurosurgical anesthesia equipment.
• Orders and restocks specialized neuro anesthesia supplies.
